BRING ON THE CONFIDENCE1. Throw your insecurities awayEveryone feels insecure at some point, and though these feelings are perfectly normal, it becomes unhealthy when you let it take control of your life. You might feel that YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR SOMEONE, or that YOU DONT DESERVE TO BE WITH THEM, but who are you to decide what someone else likes? If you insecure over the way you look or about certain aspects of your life, STOP FOCUSING ON THOSE AREAS and LOOK AT YOUR TALENTS INSTEAD (example: electric guitar). You will never know that something about you attracts the girl of your dreams.2. Be yourself
Be yourself, BE CONFIDENT THAT YOUR PERSONALITY CAN WIN THE HEART OF THE ONE YOU LIKE. Do not try to impress your crush by pretending to have the same interest, or change yourself to suit what you think the person you want to ask out really wants in someone.
POPPING THE QUESTION
1. Pick an appropriate time
Do not ask him/her out one or two days before Valentine's day cause that's way too last minute. You need to give them ample time to consider and accept.
2. Pick an appropriate method
You have to pick the method you think best demonstrates your sincerity in asking the person you like out for Valentine's day. Some say asking for a date in person is the most sincere. That might be true for some, but that won't work for someone who gets tongue-tied when nervous ( like you! :P ). Instead, ask your date out via a method you're most comfortable with. WHAT MATTERS MOST IS YOUR SINCERITY!
3. Pick the right lines
No cheesy pick up lines ( like the ones i use! ). Plan what you want to say and say it in your own words, instead of copying it off someone or something. You can try different ways of asking, such as writing a poem or PUTTING IT IN A SONG!
